Our Staff

Laura

Deputy

Laura is a qualified Level 3 early years practitioner, who started working at St Peter's Preschool in January 2014. Laura has many years experience working with Early years children and previously worked in a private day nursery for 6 years.

Emma

Emma joined St Peter's in 2017 as a parent volunteering on the committee. Emma has now joined us as Administrator working with both the Staff Team and Committee ensuring that all administrative duties including the Early Years grant are completed. Prior to working for St Peter's Emma worked as a Post Office Clerk before taking time off to raise her two boys.

Tina

(Supervisor and SENCo)

Tina ran a toddler group for 3 years before joining St. Peter’s Pre-School in 2007, gaining her childcare qualifications and other relevant training along the way. She became Level 3 qualified in 2009, then went on to become our SENCO in 2010 and even managed to squeeze in a diploma in child psychology gaining a distinction grade! Tina also has a speech therapy qualification, had ASD training and recently gained a SENCO level 4 qualification.

Charlotte

Deputy

Charlotte is a qualified level 3 early years practitioner, who joined us in October 2017 to provide some 1:1 support. She has over 15 years childcare experience and has worked in both nursery settings and also as a childminder as well as running her own toddler group.

Liz

Liz very kindly volunteers one day a week and supports the children's learning through play. Liz works closely with Bradfield C of E primary school and helps to provide strong links between us. Liz has volunteered at St Peter's preschool since 1988!!


The Committee


The Pre-School is managed by a voluntary committee of parents: all members of the committee are elected at the Annual General Meeting, held every Septmember. The Committee is responsible for managing the employed staff, managing the finances, fundraising, advertising for the preschool and ensuring the Pre-School meets Ofsted’s requirements.


The committee for 2023/2024 are:


Christine Evans (Chairperson)

Christine coordinates the meetings, supports the staff, and keeps an overview of the whole organisation.


Sahar Al-Rubaie (Secretary)

The secretary supports Emma with taking minutes from the meetings and keeping all records of the meetings.


Cassandra Davis (Parent Representative)

Cass is the key person for communication with parents between the staff and committee, working with Tina (supervisor).


Prue Shepherd (Health & Safety Representative)

The Health and safety representative deals with any health and safety issues that arise. They are also responsible for checking the stock of the first aid box and accident files.



Laura Lane & Charlotte Smith (Staff Representatives)

Advises the committee of any staff issues.


Tina Collins (Supervisor)

Tina keeps the committee posted on all developments of the preschool.


Robin Evans(Treasurer)

Robin deals with all the finances for the preschool.


Jenny Obin & Liz Barry (PCC)

The committee have members whom are PCC representatives; they advise and encourage a Christian ethos within the preschool.


Alice Capel (Fundraiser)

The fundraising team are responsible for organising all fundraising events and welcomes ideas for new ways to raise money for the preschool.
